Oh where to begin...it has been WAY too long since i've blogged. Unfortunately, I cannot get on my blog at my apartment for some unknown reason, so only when I'm at my parents do I have access to it. But previously I haven't had my pictures with me to post...so ANYWAY....

Let me introduce you to my class :) Left to right
Top: Hod (Israeli)
Middle: Ji-In (Korean), Wonmi (Korean), Damir (Kazakh/American), John (Kazakh/British), Atilla (Turkish/American), Grisha (Russian)
Bottom: Cara (American), Zoe (Turkish/American)
***I will also be getting another boy student tomorrow from Kazakhstan.

I definitely have my hands full with this class:). But I love it! Ask anyone here and they will tell you that I have my work cut out for me with this crowd :). We have had some fun times, but this is definitely a major learning curve for me.

First of all, this school is working with the International Baccalaureate program, which means there are very specific requirements for the teaching philosophy. Which really are great things, but learning them, and applying them correctly can be difficult.

It has been a struggle to not feel like a failure many days, but I am learning more and more every week. Thankfully, God has placed some people at the school who are a huge encouragement to me! They tell help me realize that it will take a while to get all these things in place and that it's ok that I don't have it completely done and perfect now :). AH...perfection....something I always aim for, but never attain :). Yet, I'm glad for that at the same time, because through that I'm constantly reminded that I need Jesus!!!

I have also started building some great relationships with some of the other staff at the school. Pray that I can be an encouragement and truth giver there all the time!

But if you think about it, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I'm very overwhelmed with all the new information I'm getting and it can be hard to stay focused on the big picture things! Also it can be hard to keep my priorities in line....pray that I continue to have good time with Jesus so that I can be filled up to overflow into my job, my students and my colleagues.

I wish I had time to write down on the hilarious happenings over the past several weeks, but it would take far too long :). Hopefully I will keep updating a little more regularly:).

Giving their first presentation (you would have thought it was the first oral presentation they had ever given....haha....but their second one was MUCH better :))

Enjoying one of the last days of summer weather while doing a project outside.

CRAZY HAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
